Bears’ top 4 WRs — Rome Odunze, DJ Moore, Olamide Zaccheaus, Luther Burden — on long injury list

The Bears had a brutal start to the practice week ahead of their game Sunday at the Bengals. Six of their key players were out Wednesday.

That included their top four wide receivers in Rome Odunze (heel), DJ Moore (hip and groin), Olamide Zaccheaus (knee) and rookie Luther Burden III (concussion).

Running back D’Andre Swift also was out with a groin injury but has been playing through it.

Cornerback Tyrique Stevenson (shoulder) was limited in practice, and the Bears desperately need him back with Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon on IR. The Bengals have two standout wide receivers in Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.

Tight end Cole Kmet (back) was limited as well and said he’s optimistic about playing Sunday.

The Bears also didn’t have backup running back Roschon Johnson (back) and reserve defensive end Dominique Robinson (ankle).

The pass that was picked off should’ve gone to Kyle Monangai in the flat.
Those four and starting running back D’Andre Swift didn’t practice Wednesday, and top cornerback Tyrique Stevenson was limited.
Already down Joe Burrow, the Bengals are hopeful Flacco can play. If not, they’ll start backup Jake Browning.
