A body was recovered from Lake Michigan near the Loop early Saturday, police said.
The Chicago Fire Department recovered the body of an unidentified man around 3 a.m. near the 200 block of North Lake Front Drive, according to Chicago police. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
A death investigation is underway by Area Three detectives, and an autopsy is pending.
