Boy, 16, killed after he was ‘mowed down while riding motorcycle with friend’ as cops arrest man, 56, over murder

A TEENAGE boy has been killed after he was reportedly mowed down while riding a motorcycle with his friend.

Aidan Tottman, 16, was seriously injured after a crash near the Liquid Leisure complex in Datchet, Berkshire, on Saturday afternoon.

Aidan later passed away from his injuries in hospital.

His family described him as “the best son and big brother who was a part of so many people’s lives”.

A 56-year-old man, from Datchet, was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.

A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said he had been released on bail pending further inquiries.

The other injured boy was said to be stable in Wexham Park Hospital, Slough.

The family of Aidan released a tribute to him as the murder investigation continued.


They said: “Aidan was the best son, big brother, nephew, grandson, cousin and friend anyone could have. He was a massive part of so many people’s lives and is loved very dearly by all.

“He was a kind, caring, funny and sometimes shy boy, who was always polite and had respect for others. Aidan will be so missed by so many people.”

“A whole community is grieving. Taken way too soon, gone but never forgotten. RIP beautiful boy, forever 16.”

Cops closed part of Horton Road on Tuesday as part of the investigation.
