A seven-year-old boy has died just days after his teenage cousin died while trying to rescue him at West Mersea, a beach in Essex.
Musa Ahmed, his cousin Sameeha Rahman, 15, and mum Shelina Rahman, 41, were out at sea on July 22 when they got into difficulty.
Shelina and Sameeha, from Ilford, east London, died and Musa suffered life-threatening injuries.
A family friend said Sameeha was trying to save her cousin, with the family having a day out at the beach.
