The Chargers on Thursday announced several promotions on Jim Harbaugh’s coaching staff plus three coaching fellowships for the 2026 season.
Steve Clinkscale will be the defensive passing game coordinator/defensive backs coach, Shane Day will be the offensive passing game coordinator/quarterbacks coach, Mike Elston will be the defensive run game coordinator/defensive line coach, Josh Hammond will be the assistant wide receivers/assistant special teams coach and Mike Hiestand will be the defensive run game specialist.
In addition, Jarrod James, Jimmy Thompson and Beau Snuggs were named Alex G. Spanos Coaching Fellows for the upcoming season.
