Chubby Cattle BBQ, the all-you-can-eat Japanese style barbecue chain with an anime twist, is continuing to expand its waistline with a new location set to open in the San Fernando Valley.
A new location, which like other Chubby Cattle spots will feature decor inspired by Japanese anime, is set to open at the end of September at 6600 Topanga Blvd. in Canoga Park. It will mark the sixth Chubby Cattle location in the area, joining other spots in Cerritos, Rowland Heights, Little Tokyo, Monterey Park and Rosemead.
“We’re excited to bring the Chubby Cattle BBQ experience to Westfield Topanga in Canoga Park. Los Angeles is home to some of the country’s most adventurous food lovers, and we believe our take on wagyu barbecue — blending authenticity, innovation, and premium ingredients — will truly resonate with the local community,” said David Zhao, co-founder, Chubby Group in a statement.
The chain is known for Japanese-style yakiniku barbecue where guests can grill wagyu meats and other options at their tables. The menu also includes sushi and hand rolls, seafood and Japanese desserts.
The restaurant will be open from noon to 9:30 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and noon to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
