Hype for Bieber’s debut Coachella set started growing earlier in the week and residents in the Palm Desert starting sharing clips from Bieber soundcheck that they could hear from their yard. It’s reported that after snippets were posted online, ticket resell prices for the sold-out event started going for $4,000.
Fans were lined up for Bieber’s exclusive Coachella merchandise all day on Friday, April 10, the day before his performance, with wait time taking anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.
Bieber’s comeback performance marks the first time the pop-star has performed on this scale since 2022, where he announced he needed to cancel the rest of the Justice World Tour to prioritize his health.
Earlier this year, Bieber performed a stripped down version of “Yukon” at the Grammy Awards.
