Coastal Country Jam: What fans need to know ahead of the country weekend

Yeehaw, cowboys and cowgirls, it’s time to dust off the boots.

Coastal Country Jam is saddling up and returning to Marina Green Park in Long Beach on Sept. 21-22. The two-day beachside festival promises to corral some of the biggest names in country music, offering a weekend packed with live performances, line dancing, mouthwatering barbecue, and plenty of Southern California sunshine by the sea.

As the West Coast’s largest beachside country festival, Coastal Country Jam has become a beloved tradition for country music fans since its debut at Huntington State Beach in 2016. Orange County-based Activated Events, the team behind this crowd favorite, is bringing bigger talent to the stage for another year.

Here’s everything you need to know before attending Coastal Country Jam.

There will only be one main stage for fans to enjoy all weekend long.

Experiences and Activations

At Coastal Country Jam, the fun extends beyond the music with a variety of activities and experiences. Dive into the Whiskey Barrel Saloon for a taste of over 100 whiskey brands, with expert-led tastings. For those who prefer tequila, The Cactus Cantina on the grounds will offer a curated selection of premium tequilas, complete with insights into their distinct flavors and traditions.

Food lovers can indulge in savory delights at the Smoke Show BBQ Pit Masters, featuring top pitmasters serving up mouth-watering BBQ. Meanwhile, the bull riding attraction invites festival-goers to test their rodeo skills on a mechanical bull.

Capture stunning views of Long Beach and the festival grounds from the Ferris wheel, or enjoy the high-flying marvel of the drone show, where choreographed drones light up the night sky as the evening’s headliners take the stage.

Or, for a bit of friendly competition, try your hand at axe throwing or join a game of cornhole for a chance to win on-site prizes.
