9. Denver East (5-3) lost vs. Arvada West, 29-21: Arvada West rallied from 14 points down in the second half to hand the Angels a heartbreaking loss. Junior RB Jaiden Green scored a TD to pull the Wildcats within seven and junior QB Logan Duhachek found Ian Morgan for another before a two-point conversion put them ahead for good. Kevin Sanchez’s late pick-6 iced it. Next week: at No. 6 Ralston Valley, 7 p.m. Oct. 25.

10. Regis Jesuit (4-3) vs. Douglas County, 6:30 p.m. Friday. Next week: at No. 7 Pine Creek, 1 p.m. Oct. 26.

Class 4A

1. Pueblo West (8-0) won at Widefield, 41-0: The Cyclones scored all 41 of their points by halftime while the defense posted its third shutout of the season. Pueblo West has just one hurdle left between it and a Week 10 showdown with No. 3 Montrose. Next week: vs. Falcon, 7 p.m. Oct. 25.

2. Dakota Ridge (7-1) won at Highlands Ranch, 47-7. Dakota Ridge rampaged for 251 yards and five touchdowns on the ground in its seventh straight win, while quarterback Kellen Behrendsen was almost perfect for the second straight game. The junior completed 8 of 9 passes for 184 yards and a touchdown and is now 28 of 33 for 533 yards over his last three starts. Next week: vs. Golden, 7:30 p.m. Oct. 25.

3. Montrose (7-0) at No. 5 Mesa Ridge, 6 p.m. Friday. Next week: at Widefield, 6 p.m. Oct. 25.

10. Frederick (6-2) won at Poudre, 49-6: The Warriors topped 40 points for the sixth game in a row, continuing a dominant stretch of play following an 0-2 start to the season. Frederick hasn’t allowed more than 13 points in any of its six straight wins and has outscored opponents 292-60 during that span. Next week: vs. Monarch, 7 p.m. Oct. 25.
