A look at the Post Preps Top 10 for Classes 5A, 4A and 3A going into Week 9.

Comment: Head coach Jake Heaps’ offensive machine rolling with four straight games of 50-plus points. This week: at Douglas County, 6 p.m. Friday.

Comment: Sophomore QB Titus Huard’s line over last two games: 35-of-43 passing for 569 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT. This week: at Fruita Monument, 6 p.m. Thursday.

9. Fountain-Fort Carson 6-2 9 L (56-13 at No. 5 Legend)
Comment: Trojans took their lumps last week against red-hot Legend. Week 10 showdown with Pine Creek looms. This week: vs. Chaparral, 7 p.m. Friday.

Comment: Mavericks have No. 1 spot in CHSAA’s 3A RPI. Visit to Windsor in two weeks will test that. This week: vs. Northridge, 7 p.m. Friday.
