Showers and thunderstorms are possible into the early evening across the Front Range and into the Eastern Plains, NWS Boulder forecasters said in a hazardous weather outlook on Sunday morning.

Wind gusts could reach up to 50 mph and can shift even if there’s not a storm overhead, posing a risk to people recreating on open water, agency officials said in a post on X.

Severe thunderstorms may continue over northeast Colorado on Monday, bringing severe winds and some moisture.
