Pete Crow-Armstrong? Check.
Kyle Tucker? Check.
Anyone else from the Cubs going to make the All-Star team this season? At least a few other guys — Seiya Suzuki, Nico Hoerner, Carson Kelly — have been making cases for themselves.
In this week’s “Polling Place,” your home for Sun-Times sports polls on the social platform X, we asked how many Cubs will get to Atlanta for the Midsummer Classic.
“Hey, Cubs fans, let’s stuff the ballot box and make this an old-fashioned Chicago election and send all nine,” @JeffreyCanalia commented.
Guess who else will have an All-Star? No, not the Chicago Dogs. The White Sox — look, it’s a rule — who will be repped by Shane Smith or, gosh, it’s slim pickings. That was poll No. 2.
Last, we asked for the champs of the NBA and NHL. Pacers or Thunder? Oilers or Panthers?
“Look out for the underdogs,” @JBIRD1268 offered.
On to the polls:
Poll No. 1: MLB All-Star fan voting has opened. How many Cubs will make it to Atlanta for next month’s Midsummer Classic?

Upshot: Crow-Armstrong and Suzuki are in the hunt for the big-league RBI lead. Wouldn’t it be something if Suzuki were to top the list at the break but not make the All-Star team? Hey, that’s life in the designated hitter business.
Poll No. 2: If you had to pick the White Sox’ All-Star Game rep right now, who’d be your guy?

Upshot: Smith has been so strong in the rotation, it almost seems as though he could take the ball every fifth day for a real team. Vasil has been sneaky-excellent out of the ’pen, but clearly our voters haven’t noticed.
Poll No. 3: Which teams will be champions of the NBA and NHL?

Upshot: With Indiana’s Tyrese Haliburton pulling magic out of his hat, anything might happen. Both finals series got off to absolutely rip-roaring starts, so we’re all winning here.
