The LA County Fair has announced a new theme for the 2027 Season, “Dig In,” encouraging fairgoers to dig in to where fun grows.
The theme was announced on Wednesday, following last weekend’s conclusion of the 2026 fair season.
The 2027 theme “Dig In” touches back to the farm aspect of the fair and the five acres of agricultural grounds where fruits and vegetables are grown by student programs and invites guests to dig into food, fun and farming.
This year, Chicken Charlies cooked over 10,000 pounds of chicken, and more than 40,000 pounds of watermelon were consumed, a fair news release said.
The 2026 fair theme, “Play your Way,” also had some playful new additions, as 18 lambs and 14 goats were born during the fair’s run.
Special “Dig Into” savings tickets for the 2027 fair are available now for $9 until June 17 and are valid for any day of the fair.
The 2027 LA County fair will run Thursday through Sunday, and on Memorial Day, from May 6 until May 31.
