The Disneyland calendar will be bursting with seasonal events from the Lunar New Year to the Christmas winter holidays as the Anaheim theme park looks ahead to 2026 and rolls out its lineup for the year ahead.
Disneyland released details on Tuesday, Dec. 2 for each of the seasonal celebrations, special events and limited-time offerings planned for the year ahead.

Disneyland also plans to update two rides and roll out a new Bluey dance party in 2026.
Here’s the lineup of events planned for Disneyland and Disney California Adventure in 2026.

Sweethearts’ Nite

Select dates on Jan. 22-Feb. 17
Entertainment will include the new “Once Upon a Dream” show and the Celebrate Love cavalcade along Main Street U.S.A.
Tickets for the Disneyland After Dark after-hours separate admission event go on sale Dec. 9 for Inspire Key holders, Dec. 10 for all other Keyholders and Dec. 11 for the general public. Tickets start at $159 and sales start each date no earlier than 9 a.m.

Lunar New Year

Jan. 23-Feb. 22
The annual food festival paying tribute to Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese traditions returns to DCA.
Mulan’s Lunar New Year procession and live musical performances will celebrate the Year of the Horse.

Celebrate Gospel
Disneyland
Feb. 20-21 and Feb. 27-28
The annual tribute to Gospel music moves from the Fantasyland Theatre to the Downtown Disney Live stage with a pair of headliner musicians and a host of Southern California community choirs.
A ticket to Disneyland is not required for the free event in the outdoor shopping mall next to the Anaheim parks.

Anaheim Ducks Day

Feb. 22
Current and former players from the Anaheim NHL team will take part in a cavalcade parade in DCA with the Wild Wing mascot, hockey-themed entertainment and plenty of photo opportunities.

70 Years of Favorites Nite

March 3 and 5
Entertainment will include swing dancing in Fantasyland’s Royal Theatre, a Videopolis Dance Party at Tomorrowland Terrace and Woody’s Round Up line dancing in the Golden Horseshoe.
Rare characters from the Carousel of Progress, The Sword and the Stone, A Bug’s Life and Fantasmic will make meet-and-greet appearances.
Photo op stations will include tributes to Main Street Electrical Parade, Club Buzz and the Mad T Party.

Disney Food & Wine Festival

The 2026 version of the venerable Food & Wine Festival returns to DCA with California-centric food, beer and wine, celebrity chefs and Disney characters dressed in their best foodie attire.
Disney has not yet announced whether Soarin’ Over California will return again during the food fest before the debut of the new Soarin’ Across America.

Bluey’s Best Day Ever
Disneyland
Debuts March 22
The Bluey’s Best Day Ever dance party in the Fantasyland Theatre at Disneyland will include meet-and-greet photo ops with Bluey and her dog family.
“Bluey” is an Australian children’s TV series about a 6-year-old puppy named Bluey and her family, neighbors and school friends who invent elaborate games to play in each episode of the Peabody- and Emmy-winning animated show.

Disney Channel Nite

The Disneyland After Dark after-hours separate admission event will feature nods to various eras of Disney’s kids television network.
On sale dates for Disney Channel Nite will be announced in early 2026.

Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run

Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run will venture to Tatooine, Endor and Bespin when the rebooted Disneyland ride embarks on a new adventure with the Mandalorian and Grogu.
The launch of the updated ride in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be tied to the debut of “The Mandalorian and Grogu” film coming to theaters on May 22.

The Disneyland After Dark after-hours separate admission event will feature rainbow-colored streets, buildings, attractions, dance parties and photo opportunities with Disney characters in a celebration of all things LGBTQ.
On sale dates for Pride Nite will be announced in spring 2026.

Yardfest

June 19
The Disney On the Yard drumline procession brings together Drum Major Mickey Mouse with drum majors from historically Black colleges and universities for a second year during the Celebrate Soulfully community event.

Soarin’ Across America
Disney California Adventure
Debuts July 2
The “Soarin’ Around the World” attraction will trade scenes of the Great Wall of China, Egyptian pyramids and Eiffel Tower for a flight from sea to shining sea when the new “Soarin’ Across America” film opens during the 250th anniversary of the United States in celebration of the nation’s semi-quincentennial.
“Soarin’ Across America” will be filmed at 33 locations across the United States with the new scenes capturing a bird’s-eye view of natural landmarks, national monuments and large cities.

70th Anniversary Celebration
Disneyland and Disney California Adventure
Continues through summer 2026
The yearlong-plus celebration that began on May 16, 2025 will come to an end on Aug. 9.
Disneyland’s Paint the Night parade and “Wondrous Journeys” nighttime spectacular that were paused during the holidays will return in January.
DCA’s new “World of Color Happiness” water show that played throughout the holidays will continue in 2026.

Disney Junior Let’s Play
Disney California Adventure and Downtown Disney
Aug. 13-16
Disneyland will bring back the Disney Junior kids festival geared toward 2- to 7-year-olds for a one-day event at DCA and two days in Downtown Disney.
The kids fest will feature entertainment, activities and Disney Jr. character meet-and-greet photo ops.

Oogie Boogie Bash

The biggest of the separate admission, after-hours parties returns with the most dates ever.
The wildly-popular Halloween event sold out in hours in past years.
Halloween Time at Disneyland and Plaza de la Familia at DCA kicks off on Aug. 21.

Aug. 13
D23 Day kicks off the four-day fan event with themed moments, experiences and surprises at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.
The D23 fan event featuring updates on new lands and attractions coming to the parks returns to the Anaheim Convention Center on Aug. 13-16 along with exhibits, panels, presentations and shopping tied to all things Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars.
