Dolly Parton will perform a short Las Vegas residency after going 32 years without playing Sin City.
The reluctant 2022 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee announced Monday she’s headed for the desert.
“Grab your rhinestones, Vegas is calling!” Parton posted on Instagram.
A message on Parton’s website said the shows will be “hit-driven” concerts including well-known tunes like “9 to 5,” “Jolene” and “I Will Always Love You.”
Tickets go on sale Wednesday to see “Dolly: Live in Vegas” during its Caesars Palace run from Dec. 4 to Dec. 13.
The 79-year-old singer experienced tragedy in March when her husband of over 60 years, Carl Dean, died. Parton credits Dean with inspiring her to break from country music to record her 2023 rock album “Rockstar.”
“He’s a big rock and roller,” she told the Associated Press when the album was released.
A year earlier she was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Parton initially rejected that nomination — not wanting to take a space from a traditional rock artist who dedicated their career to that genre. She was eventually persuaded to accept the honor “gracefully,” she said.
Parton also has her eyes set on Broadway. She put out a December casting call for actresses interested in playing her in “Dolly: An Original Musical” when that show comes together.
