Donald Trump shared a raging Truth Social post after Iran threatened to kill Barron Trump on state television.
Last month, a propaganda clip titled ‘How to Kill Melania Trump’ appeared to provide tips about the US First Lady’s whereabouts and designer stores she frequently visits.
That video ended with an apparent threat towards the President’s youngest son, saying: ‘This is just the beginning. Barron Trump, wait for us.’
Yesterday, Trump wrote: ‘IRAN IS COMPLETELY COLLAPSING!!!’ on his Truth Social.
He also shared a quote from Brandon Gill reading: ‘If you hate Western civilisation, you don’t deserve to live in it.’
Trump has been threatening Iran again after the nation shared a threat against his 20-year-old son.
The video included AI-generated clips of Barron Trump wearing an Arsenal shirt and playing his Xbox, and suggestions for where he might meet people in New York’s Trump Tower.
He has a ‘digital sanctuary of his own’ with his communications limited to chats on the gaming console, the report claimed, according to a translation from Euronews Persian.
According to the report, a bounty of $10,000,000 (£7,300,000) has been placed on the head of the president’s son.
The ramping threats from Iran prompted the Trump administration to threaten an ‘economic D-Day’ against countries continuing to support the nation.
Scott Bessent, the Treasury Secretary, wrote in an inflammatory opinion piece in the Financial Times about how Trump and the US military have ‘significantly dismantled Iran’s military capabilities and weakened its nuclear programme’.
Bessent went on to praise Trump for doing what his ‘predecessors refused to’ but said that countries who continue to enable their economy will face an ‘economic D-Day’.
‘At dawn begins an economic D-Day — the single greatest financial offensive ever marshalled against an adversary,’ he said.
Last week, Trump shared his hardline approach to the conflict on Truth Social, writing: ‘Oil smuggling, swap lines, cash transfers, exchange houses, ship registries, front companies — It all needs to stop NOW.’
Iran’s largest trading partners include Turkey, China, Russia, and the United Arab Emirates, but just last week, the UAE said it was stopping all trade and financial transactions with Iran.
