Drake is Rollie-ing in dough. The rap superstar took to Instagram to flaunt what he describes as his most prized possession: a one-of-one Rolex Daytona commemorating “the record breaking milestones of 2026.” Drake did do unprecedented numbers directly following the May 15 release of a trilogy of albums, Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour.

He became the most-streamed artist in a single day on Spotify, the first artist to occupy all 30 spots in the U.S. Apple Music Top 30 simultaneously, the first artist to reach 400 carreer Hot 100 entries (he had 42 simultaneous entries in one week), and spent 46 consecutive days at No. 1 on Apple Music.

According to a blurry brochure photo Drake uploaded to a carousel, the so-called “Unique Ice Gradient Daytona,” is based on the Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona, Rolex’s flagship racing chronograph featuring an “Oyster” waterproof case, self-winding “Perpetual” movement, “Cosmograph” stopwatch, and the Daytona name made famous by Paul Newman. Drake’s features a case and bracelet rendered in white gold and set with baguette-cut diamonds gradated in color from clear white diamonds to deep blue sapphires as it wraps the wrist.

Notably, the caseback is emblazoned with ice-blue text reading “FREEZE THE WORLD,” a lyric from the Iceman single “Make Them Know” that also name-drops the famed Swiss watchmaker: “Four hundred racks on the head/How am I spendin’ so frivolous?/I act like the money’s unlimited/If a Rolex I want ’bout to drop, I reserve the shit like I’m indigenous.”

Drake didn’t name a price he paid for what he calls “the most important thing I have ever had the pleasure of owning” and discouraged anyone who may have been inspired to recreate the watch: “Please do not get your local jeweler to recreate… This is a stand alone and a part of history.” But experts from around the internet have estimated the Rolex, which is distinguished as a rare bespoke commission from its factory, could be worth as much as $5 million. It “must be the most expensive retail factory Rolex any of us have ever seen,” collector Mike Nouveau said in a video breakdown.

Securing a unique commission wouldn’t be a problem for Drizzy, who has done more for the Rolex brand than perhaps any other artist. In his 2024 track “It’s Up,” he boasted of a Rollie collection numbering 143, and he sported a blingy Rolex GMT-Master II on the cover of his 2011 album Take Care. If he’s not planning to already, Drake might as well join Leonardo DiCaprio and Roger Federer as official ambassadors.
