A driver died in a four-vehicle crash that involved a dump truck in Irwindale on Friday, Sept. 18.
Police and firefighters responded just before noon to the crash at Arrow Highway and Avenida Barbosa, where one car was on fire, Irwindale police said.
At least three vehicles, including a dump truck, a white passenger van and a black vehicle, suffered extreme damage, according to footage from RMG News, which sometimes does freelance work for the Southern California News Group.
Two people were trapped in vehicles and one needed to be extricated, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Two people, although it was unclear which ones, were transported to a hospital.
The crash shut down Arrow Highway, Avenida Barbosa and surrounding streets for several hours.
Police asked anyone who saw the crash or has footage of it to contact investigators at 626-430-2244.
