A female driver was killed and two of her passengers were shot in a vehicle early Tuesday in Englewood.
Around 2 a.m., officers responded to calls of a person shot in the 7200 block of South Green Street and found multiple people shot in a vehicle, Chicago police said.
The driver, a female whose age wasn’t known, was shot in her back and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where she died, police said.
A 20-year-old passenger was shot in his shoulder and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he was in serious condition, officials said.
A 17-year-old boy was struck in his elbow and taken to the University of Chicago in good condition, authorities said.
No one was in custody.
Area 1 detectives are investigating.
