With his tiny legs, big head and even bigger heart, Potsticker is a low-rider full of love and charm. This pit bull mix is easy to harness, loves treats and adores being part of whatever you’re doing, whether it’s a walk, a TV break or folding laundry (which he might sit on). He’s friendly, gentle and enjoys calm engagement with plenty of sniffing time. Potsticker may be short in stature, but he’s long on personality, loyalty and sweetness. The East Bay SPCA offers walk-in adoptions at its Oakland and Dublin campuses from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. For updated and real-time information on programs and offerings, visit eastbayspca.org/adoptions.

Gecko is the sweetest girl with so much joy it’s contagious. She’s a certified 2-year-old wigglebutt and is pumped about everything the world has to offer. She responds well to training (LOVES the treat part of it), knows all of her commands, and while she sometimes needs a reminder to re-focus with a “sit,” she is an all-around good girl. She’s ready to enjoy the cozy life she has always deserved. If you’d like to share her joy, come meet her at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter on 1590 Fortmann Way during open hours, call 510-337-8565 or visit alamedaanimalshelter.org/adopt.
