Eastbound Interstate 70 was closed Thursday in Jefferson County for a crash, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
As of 12:15 p.m., eastbound I-70 was closed between C-470 and U.S. 6/Sixth Avenue in Golden, state transportation officials said. Officials estimated the closure was causing up to 20-minute delays at that time.
U.S. 6 is also closed between Johnson Road and U.S. 40, near West Pleasant View, for the crash, according to CDOT.
Colorado State Patrol troopers are investigating the crash, according to the agency.
Drivers should avoid the area and take alternate routes.
