Epic Universe tickets could go on sale in the next 2 weeks, report says

Tickets could go on sale in late October for the highly-anticipated Epic Universe theme park in central Florida that will feature lands dedicated to wizards, dragons, monsters and gorillas, according to a published report.

Universal Orlando plans to open the new Epic Universe theme park as early as Memorial Day weekend 2025, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Epic Universe tickets could go on sale as soon as this month, the Journal reported on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

Universal Orlando has not yet confirmed an opening date for the 750-acre Epic Universe theme park beyond summer 2025. The planned opening date could change, according to the Journal.

Universal plans to require visitors purchase a multi-day ticket to visit Epic Universe during the initial launch, travel agents briefed on Universal’s plans told the Journal.

Ticket holders would only be able to visit Epic Universe on one day to avoid overcrowding — spending the other days at Universal Studios Florida or Islands of Adventure.

Single-day Epic Universe tickets would not be available when the park initially opens.

Harry Potter’s Ministry of Magic
Super Nintendo World with a Donkey Kong roller coaster
How to Train Your Dragon’s Isle of Berk
Dark Universe based on classic Universal Monsters
Celestial Park entry promenade

Walt Disney World announced plans to counter the launch of Epic Universe during the D23 fan event this summer in Anaheim.

The next few years will see the addition of a Tropical Americas themed land with Indiana Jones and Encanto attractions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, a Monsters Inc. suspended coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and a pair of attractions themed to the Cars franchise along with a Disney Villains land at the Magic Kingdom.

The debut of Epic Universe could boost attendance across all three of Universal’s Florida theme parks by 8 million visitors during 2025 and 2026, according to an analyst report from research firm MoffettNathanson.
