THIS domestic brainteaser will leave you punching the sofa while you try to spot the key.

Everyone can see the living room furniture, but only those with a high IQ and 20/20 vision can spot the hidden key in 9 seconds.

The homely image features the usual items one would expect, such as a sofa, dining table and even some rogue slippers on the floor.

But what makes this teaser unique is the bizarre black and white portal on the wall.

The portal, contrasted with the less crazy patterns of the rest of the room, makes it very hard to focus on finding the key.

Even harder is the variety of contrasting colours, from the pink of the chairs to the bright orange of the sofas.

It may sound tough, but the key to finding this key is looking in the most obvious places, meaning maybe not the giant portal.

Psychologists at The University of Glasgow found that staring at an optical illusion can improve eye sight by allowing you to see small print.

Escape London says puzzles can also give your mind a great workout and may “boost your brain’s activity” which “reduces the risk of dementia.”
