Extreme heat watch issued for Los Angeles County from Tuesday to Friday

Los Angeles County is under an extreme heat watch which was released by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 2:25 p.m. The watch is valid from Tuesday 10 a.m. until Friday Aug. 28, at 8 p.m.

The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA informs, “Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures up to 100 degrees possible.”

“Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events. Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses,” according to the NWS.
