Face to Face names new executive director

Face to Face has announced Kevin McAllister as its new executive director. He will lead the Santa Rosa-based nonprofit focused on ending HIV and advancing harm reduction.

McAllister has more than 20 years of experience leading nonprofit organizations. He most recently served as development director at the California Council on Science and Technology, where he created the organization’s first comprehensive development infrastructure, according to Face to Face’s Oct. 7 announcement.

McAllister previously led Meals on Wheels Sacramento County, expanding its operating budget from $5 million to $12.5 million in under two years, and has held executive leadership roles at Rainbow Community Center, California Coalition for Youth, and other organizations serving vulnerable communities, according to the press release.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kevin to Face to Face,” Andres Correa, board president, said in the announcement. “His depth of experience, proven leadership, and unwavering commitment to community health and equity will ensure we continue to deliver vital services while expanding our impact in HIV prevention, care, and harm reduction across Sonoma County.”

“This work is about saving lives, restoring hope and standing alongside our community in the fight against overdose and health inequities,” McAllister said. “I am honored to join Face to Face and continue its legacy of service and advocacy.”
