Vehicle theft: Between 1 p.m. on Aug. 26 and 3:10 p.m. on Aug. 28, someone stole a vehicle from the driveway of a residence in the 18000 block of Paseo Lado for a loss valued at approximately $13,000.

Residential burglary: At 12:04 p.m., four suspects entered a residence in the 14000 block of Ten Acres Court by breaking a rear sliding glass door and stole a camera and jewelry for a loss valued at approximately $8,400.

Check fraud, forgery: On Aug. 30, Saratoga residents said someone forged and attempted to cash a fraudulent check for about $30,596. Their bank declined the transaction, and no financial loss was reported.
