Former NFL receiver TJ Houshmandzadeh joins Sierra Canyon staff

Sierra Canyon has added another major name to its football coaching staff.

Former NFL wide receiver TJ Houshmandzadeh is joining the Trailblazers’ staff in an advisory role, according to sources within the school.

Houshmandzadeh will be tasked with developing the talent of players like Sir Homer King Webb as Sierra Canyon looks to contend for CIF Southern Section and CIF State titles this season.

Webb holds offers from Ole Miss, Oregon State, New Mexico and Sacramento State.

Prior to helping at Sierra Canyon, he was an offensive coordinator at Long Beach Poly and coached wide receivers at Santa Margarita.

Houshmandzadeh will be working alongside a staff that includes former USC star Zach Banner, who is the team’s offensive line coach.

Sierra Canyon enters the 2026 season ranked No. 17 in the nation by MaxPreps.com.
