
Four men have been arrested on suspicion of sexual offences, including rape, after reports of a teenage girl being assaulted at a park in south west London.
Police were called at just 7.13am yesterday to Fishponds Park, Surbiton.
Officers established a crime scene at the park and forensic searches continue.
A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and administering a substance with intent to commit and sexual offence.
A 35-year-old man and a 36-year-old man were arrested, each on suspicion of rape, sexual assault, and administering a substance with intent to commit a sexual offence.
A 41-year-old was arrested on suspicion of rape.
The Met told Metro the four men remained in custody and the teenage girl was being supported by specialist officers.
A Met spokesperson said: ‘We understand this news is concerning for the community and we will be increasing patrols in the area.’
