Do you live in Los Angeles County? If so, there might be a free program packed with interesting activities for your kids happening weekdays at your local park.
In the “Every Body Plays: Summer Adventures” program, kids can engage in free supervised sports and games, go on field trips, get lab times, creative activities and more. This program is scheduled to be held weekdays from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from June 15 through Aug. 7.
It’s for ages 7 to 17, to help them stay active and have a memorable summer. Snacks will be available daily from 3 to 4 p.m. and some sites will also offer lunch from noon to 1 p.m.
The program will be available at 37 L.A. County parks in these areas: Arcadia, Artesia, Azusa, Carson, Castaic, Cerritos, Compton, Hacienda Heights, Hawthorne, Huntington Park, Kagel Canyon, Lawndale, La Crescenta, La Puente, Los Angeles, Pearblossom, Quartz Hill, Rowland Heights, Stevenson Ranch, Torrance, Walnut Park, Whittier.
Stop by or call your local park to see if it’s participating and sign up your kids in advance.
Or sign up online at anc.apm.activecommunities.com/losangelescounty. You’ll need to create a free account, then search for “Every Body Plays Summer Adventures (2026).” Look for your local park in the listings. May 22 is ostensibly the last date to sign up online, so don’t dally.
