In an ongoing effort to showcase downtown San Pedro, the business improvement district will sponsor the 7th Street Market featuring a wine garden from 4-9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17.
The summer block party follows similar events offered in December 2023 and March 2024 with festivities on Seventh Street (closed to traffic) between Mesa and Centre streets.
Celebrating the closing days of summer, the event will feature summer wines from France — curated by Compagnon, a French restaurant on Seventh Street.
“If you have been watching the Olympics and have fallen in love with France, then you can express that love on Saturday during the seasonal 7th Street Market where we will feature a wine garden and showcase great French summer wines,” said Thomas Compagnon, owner of the Compagnon Wine Bistro.
