A man was charged with the murder of a woman in West Ridge in February, police said.
Darreon Plummer, 33, of suburban Glen Ellyn, faces a first-degree murder charge in connection with the fatal shooting of 36-year-old Da’J Dameka Flowers. Flowers was fatally shot near her home in the 6900 block of North Bell Avenue on Feb. 6.
Plummer was arrested near O’Hare International Airport Wednesday. He’s scheduled to appear in court Friday.
