Graduates wearing caps and gowns waved to family members and friends as they entered the ceremony. Some attendees held oversized signs and posters in support of their graduates, while others cheered and applauded as students crossed the stage to receive their diplomas.
Following the ceremony, graduates gathered with classmates, family members and teachers for photos to mark the occasion.
Sherman Oaks Center for Enriched Studies is part of the Los Angeles Unified School District.
