Marking a major milestone in the lead up to the launch, Rockstar Games has confirmed that GTA VI pre-orders will go live this June 25 in a press statement that also unveiled the game’s new cover art and logo.

The long-awaited new installment of the world’s biggest video game is still on track to launch November 19 after being delayed from its original launch date of this past May 26. Pre-orders becoming available is a good sign that Rockstar doesn’t intend to delay the game further.
GTA VI will first be available on both Playstation 5 and the Xbox Series X with a PC version following down the line. Pre-orders for digital editions will be easiest directly on the PS and Xbox marketplaces. Physical copies and potential special editions are best left to Amazon, GameStop or your local video game stores.
Whatever special editions Rockstar has cooked up, as well as pricing for the standard edition, are still under wraps and will likely stay that way until the pre-orders go live. There’s been rumbling about the game carrying a higher price tag. Considering GTA V is the highest grossing entertainment product ever sold, GTA VI’s new price might be justified.
Rockstar is also likely to drop a new trailer to mark the beginning of pre-orders, one that most would agree is overdue. The second (and most recent) GTA VI trailer debuted over a year ago.
