Las Vegas shooting
One person is reportedly dead after a shooting in Las Vegas

A gunman has opened fire in Las Vegas in front of the city’s famous Ballagio hotel fountains.

One person is reported to have died in the incident.

The shooting, on the Las Vegas Strip, was caught on camera as a bystander happened to be filming a livestream at the time.

Seven shots are heard, while a witness shouts, ‘Are you f***ing kidding me?’

A man, thought to be the gunman, is seen wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses.

Las Vegas police locked down the area and posted on social media: ‘We are responding to a shooting in the 3600 block of S. Las Vegas Boulevard.

‘The shooting did not occur inside a casino. Please avoid the area.’

More to come.
