Hailey Bieber knows she’s a Nepo baby

If reactions to Vulture’s recent documentary about the expanded Nepo-Baby universe are any indication, the famous children of celebrities are generally not very comfortable talking about the industry advantage their lineage gives them. Most reactions to our current fascination with cronyism range from defensive to defensive. In a recent interview with Vulture, actress Allison Williams, whose father is NBC news anchor Brian Williams, made what is probably the closest thing to a respectful, confident statement on the subject, acknowledging that her unfair leg “didn’t.” that’s how it’s fun for me to be part of the excitement.”

Notably, she changed into a plain white crop top with no slogans shortly after.

Bieber’s bold revival of the term has received mixed reactions. Charlie XCXNot a Nepo baby herself, she wrote on Twitter that she “respects the attempt at the Nepo baby t-shirt.” But there are indications that the shirt was better received within the nepo-baby community. Namely by Gwyneth Paltrow, whose feelings for her industrial parents are already firmly established: Earlier this year, she herself explained in an interview with Bieber that people who have benefited from nepotism “have to work twice as hard and be twice as good”. . She and Bieber are still on the same page, it seems. Paltrow commented on InStyle’s Instagram post about the controversial shirt: “I might need a few of these.” One for every savvy parent, perhaps?
