The Head In The Clouds Music & Arts Festival is returning to Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on Saturday, Aug. 8, bringing together some of the biggest names in Asian music alongside a lineup of restaurants and cultural experiences.
Produced by 88rising and Goldenvoice, the annual festival has become one of Southern California’s premier celebrations of Asian music and culture, showcasing artists from across pop, hip-hop, R&B and electronic music while spotlighting Asian-owned restaurants and businesses from throughout the region.
Whether you’re heading to the festival for Grammy-nominated Katseye, Japanese hip-hop and R&B group XG, Rich Brian or the food lineup, here’s what attendees should know before making their way to Brookside.
Lineup and set times
This year’s lineup is led by global girl group Katseye, who will close out the festival with a headlining performance from 8:55 p.m. to 10:55 p.m.
Other artists performing throughout the day include XG, Dabin.kr, Rich Brian, UMI, LNGSHOT, Tiffany Day, KiiiKiii, no na, Warren Hue, Gia Fu, Be:First and kiOra.
Festival gates open at 1 p.m., with performances beginning shortly afterward. The complete set times are:

Food and festival experiences
Beyond the music, Head In The Clouds has become just as well known for celebrating Asian cuisine, bringing together restaurants from across Southern California alongside the day’s performances.
This year’s food lineup includes Bang Bang Noodles, Chimmelier, Kogi, Bone Kettle, The Boiling Crab, Burger She Wrote, Bistro Na’s, Banh Khot Lady, Gokoku, Sandoitchi, Unreal Poke, Meet Fresh, Garlic & Rice, Onigiri by Hyuga, Bluey & Co., Odd One Out Tea, Noodle Boys and several other vendors serving everything from Korean barbecue and Vietnamese specialties to Japanese-inspired bites and Cajun seafood.
Parking and transportation
Festivalgoers planning to drive are encouraged to purchase parking in advance. Preferred parking, located closest to the festival entrance, is available for $95, while general parking costs $45. Parking passes are sold separately from festival admission.
Organizers note that overnight parking, RV parking, camping and tailgating are not permitted.

What you can bring
Clear bags measuring up to 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches are permitted. Non-clear bags, including small clutches and fanny packs, must be no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches.
Professional cameras, including DSLRs, bridge cameras and cameras with detachable lenses, are prohibited. However, film cameras, disposable cameras, Polaroids, point-and-shoot cameras and cell phones are allowed.
Festivalgoers may also bring approved parasols for shade, provided they meet the event’s size requirements and have nonmetal handles. Prescription medications are permitted if they remain in their original labeled containers matching the attendee’s identification. Naloxone is also allowed for personal use.
