Head in the Clouds announces set times, food lineup for Pasadena festival

Head In The Clouds Music & Arts Festival is headed to Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on Aug. 8, with a stacked lineup of global superstars from the Asian diaspora paired with some of the culture’s most delicious foods and beverages.

The festival, produced by 88rising and Goldenvoice, will feature headliners and best-new-artist Grammy-nominated Katseye, along with Japan’s hip-hop and R&B group XG, acclaimed South Korean rapper Dabin.kr (performing for the first time in the U.S. under his new moniker), R&B singer-songwriter UMI, Jay Park-produced K-Pop boy group LNGSHOT, South Korean girl group KiiiKiii, and more.

General admission passes start at $179, VIP passes start at $329, and 1999 Club passes are $479. Prices include all service fees and taxes and are available for purchase at la.hitcfestival.com.

Food and beverage lineup

In addition to spotlighting some of the best Asian music on the rise on global charts, the event also hosts and showcases some of the best Asian food in the Los Angeles area, with an emphasis on small and family-owned businesses.

This year’s list of all-Asian vendors includes the hand-pulled artisanal noodle eatery Bang Bang Noodles, South Korean fried chicken joint Chimmelier, Korean BBQ tacos from Kogi, The Boiling Crab’s signature Louisiana-inspired Cajun seafood boil, and Pasadena favorite Southeast Asian kitchen Bone Kettle. Additional highlights include the Vietnamese hot spot Banh Khot Lady, the plant-based comfort-food eatery Gokoku, Bistro Na’s exquisite flavors of the Qing Dynasty, Japanese convenience-store-inspired bites and beverages from Sandoitchi, and the Wagyu smash-burger haven Burger She Wrote.

Other restaurants and eateries featured at the festival include Chimmelier, Onigiri & Kuramoto Shavery, Bluey & Co., Unreal Poke, Meet Fresh, Miya, Onigiri by Hyuga, Garlic & Rice, Shlap Muan, Odd One Out Tea and Noodle Boys.
