Heat advisory active for Eastern San Gabriel Mountains until Sunday evening

A heat advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 2:16 p.m. in effect until Sunday Aug. 2, at 8 p.m. for Eastern San Gabriel Mountains.

“Temperatures of 90 to 100 degrees expected,” according to the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA. “Heat hazards may extend into next week for portions of the region.”
