Heat advisory active for Los Angeles County until Tuesday morning

Los Angeles County is under a heat advisory which was issued by the National Weather Service on Monday at 12:44 p.m. The advisory is in effect until Tuesday Aug. 25, at 10 a.m.

The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA informs, “Temperatures up to 98 degrees.”

“Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events,” according to the NWS.
