Heat advisory for Los Angeles County until Friday evening

Los Angeles County was placed under a heat advisory by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 9:20 p.m. The advisory is in effect until Friday Sept. 11, at 6 p.m.

“High temperatures of 85 – 95 degrees and very warm overnight lows,” can be anticipated according to the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA. “Humid conditions will add to heat discomfort.”

“Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses,” according to the NWS.
