Heat advisory for Los Angeles County until Monday evening

Los Angeles County is under a heat advisory which was released by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 11:26 a.m. The advisory is in effect until Monday July 27, at 8 p.m.

The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA informs, “Very warm and humid daytime conditions with high temperatures between 82 and 92 common. Warm overnight conditions will bring less relief than usual.”

“There is a high risk for dangerous heat illness, especially for sensitive groups like the very young, the very old, those without air conditioning, and those active outdoors,” the NWS said.
