Heat advisory issued for Los Angeles County beaches until Saturday night

Los Angeles County beaches is included in a heat advisory issued by the National Weather Service on Friday at 8:55 a.m. The advisory is in effect until Saturday Aug. 23, at 9 p.m.

The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA states to expect, “Temperatures up to 90 degrees.”

“There is a high risk for heat illness for sensitive populations including the very young, the very old, those without air conditioning, and those active outdoors,” the NWS said.
