Here’s what’s new at McDonald’s this week

McDonald’s new breakfast item requires extra napkins.

It’s called a Honey Brown Butter Bacon Egg & Cheese Biscuit, and it’s essentially what its name describes: one of its standard breakfast menu items dressed up with a buttery honey drizzle that adds 30 calories to the usual 460 calories.

It costs about $5.19, depending on location, and will be available for a limited time.

Southern California restaurants are also offering a $6 Breakfast Extra Value Meal, according to a news release. It includes either a Sausage, Egg & Cheese McGriddle or a Sausage McMuffin with Egg with a Hash Brown and coffee or a soft drink.

There’s another breakfast deal with a Sausage McMuffin or Sausage Biscuit, Hash Brown and beverage for $5. In some places, it may be advertised as a $4 Meal Deal, but prices tend to be higher at California franchises.

On the lunch and dinner menu, there’s a new limited-time Caesar Sauce that’s available in a Caesar Snack Wrap, which features a crispy chicken strip wrapped in a tortilla. There’s also a Bacon Caesar McCrispy Sandwich with a crispy chicken filet on a toasted potato roll. Customers who want extra sauce can order a Caesar Dip Cup,

Although the World Cup is over, FIFA World Cup meals with collectible drink cups may still be available at some locations. The same holds true for McDonald’s BT21 Happy Meal, which comes with cute characters that have ring clips.

It might also be possible to order a throwback Fried Apple Pie, which was brought back for a limited time in June in honor of the nation’s 250th birthday. McDonald’s replaced fried pies with baked pies in the 1990s.
