Hit-and-run Honda kills man on Roscoe Boulevard in Northridge

A man was fatally struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in Northridge.

The crash occurred about 8:15 p.m. Sunday in the area of Roscoe Boulevard and White Oak Avenue, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

“A gray 2006 Honda Accord was traveling eastbound on Roscoe Boulevard, west of White Oak Avenue, when it struck a pedestrian who was on the roadway,” according to a police statement. “The pedestrian was dragged a distance before being dislodged from the vehicle.”

The Honda continued eastbound on Roscoe without stopping. Paramedics rushed the pedestrian, a man in his 20s, to a hospital where he died from his injuries.
