Thet were four sexual assaults against children aged under 13, two counts of sexual activity with a child, three counts of voyeurism, one of making indecent photographs of children and one of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
Thirteen family members attended court last Friday to see him sentenced on his 67th birthday, but were disappointed when the hearing was adjourned.
Doyle’s barrister Carl Templar-Vasey told Birmingham Crown Court there were discrepencies in the pre-sentence report that didn’t accord with the pleas entered.
He said he had only just met Doyle as his previous barrister was unavailable.
The case was adjourned until November 25, and Doyle was told if he fails to leave prison to appear in person, it would constitute a new offence.
Last time he was in the papers, Doyle had been considering retiring as a result of the windfall.
Grandmother-of-four Rose had described her win as a ‘true miracle’, saying: ‘Things like this just don’t happen to people like us.’
Speaking of her plans to enjoy the home, Rose said: ‘We’ve got a large extended family, so we’re going to be very popular this summer, the phone won’t stop ringing as they’ll all be wanting to book their holidays down here.
‘I’m not sure what we’re going to do long term yet – we’ll definitely enjoy it as a family for a bit – whatever we decide to do, it’s going to change all our lives for the better – it’s a true miracle.’
The five-bedroom home on the Cornish coast their home came with a hot tub, panoramic terrace and landscaped garden, as well as £100,000 in cash, which made it an easy decision for her to retire when she found out she’d won.
Rose did not appear at the hearing last week.
A family member told the Mail she was reeling from the revelations about her husband, and that the divorce is set to be finalised next month.
