IShowSpeed dropped by Disneyland and Disney California Adventure for a few hours on his 35-day Speed Does America national tour to take in a few rides and show off the Anaheim theme parks to his millions of live stream followers.
It was hard to miss the 20-year-old Darren Watkins Jr. from Cincinnati, Ohio, who has become one of the most famous live streamers in the world as he moved through the Disney parks inside a bubble of 20 personal security guards, uniformed Disneyland security officers, VIP tour guides and camera crew.
“So this is Disneyland,” IShowSpeed said as he walked toward the park’s security checkpoint. “What’s the difference between Disneyland and Disney World?”

The Speed Does America national tour has visited 24 U.S. states and Washington, D.C. over the past month.
The tour started in Florida with a stop at Walt Disney World on the itinerary. The Disneyland visit on Day 33 of the 35-day tour took up just a quarter of the 12-hour live stream throughout the day.
The YouTube video of the Disneyland livestream posted by IShowSpeed racked up 125,000 views — a fraction of the 969,000 views he garnered for his Disney World video.
The U.S. tour follows European and Southeast Asian tours by IShowSpeed that set streaming records and garnered him the top ranking in Rolling Stone’s 25 Most Influential Creators List for 2025.
Disneyland visitors — some shocked to see the internet celebrity and others following his live stream — clamored to get close to IShowSpeed as he walked through Disneyland surrounded by security.
“What’s up Speed?” park visitors yelled as he passed.
Fans who asked for a photo briefly slipped inside the security bubble at Speed’s insistence for a quick “Street Pic” with the streamer — and a moment of YouTube fame.
It’s impossible to say how many of his 126.7 million followers watched the live stream from Disneyland, but it’s safe to say it was likely in the tens of thousands.
IShowSpeed added 5,000 new YouTube subscribers during his Disneyland visit.
The world famous streamer has 44.6 million followers on YouTube, 41.3 million on TikTok and 40.8 million on Instagram as of Oct. 1.

IShowSpeed looked like any other Disneyland tourist in a black graphic t-shirt, red Nike shorts, sneakers and friendship bracelets — except for the presidential-like level of security surrounding him.
Online video posted by Fresh Baked Disney just before noon on Monday, Sept. 29 of IShowSpeed’s security phalanx walking toward the Matterhorn Bobsleds roller coaster was viewed 61,000 times on Twitter.
IShowSpeed tackled six rides at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure during his 3-hour VIP tour of the parks.
He paused in Adventureland to wish happy birthday to a 1-year-old in a stroller and give the baby a tiny fist bump.
The first ride of the day was Indiana Jones Adventure — famous for its long, cavernous queue.
“We’re finally here,” Speed said at the lndy load station. “This ride better be worth it.”
The thrill ride takes passengers in a rugged troop transport over rough terrain as they race through a cursed temple filled with slithering snakes, screaming mummies and collapsing bridges.
“Why so dark?” Speed said on the dark ride. “You can’t even see nothing.”
The troop transport returned to the station amid applause from the riders and cheers from the Disneylanders awaiting IShowSpeed’s return.
“That run was fun,” Speed said. “That was automatically a W.”
IShowSpeed shook hands and bumped fists with fans as the entourage exited Indiana Jones Adventure.
“Speed!” yelled a kid in a wheelchair. “Speed!”
The streamer stopped to pose for a photo with the wide-eyed young fan.
“He literally watches you constantly,” the boy’s mother said.

The second ride of the day was the Matterhorn Bobsleds roller coaster.
“What’s the best seat?” Speed asked as he moved from the middle to the front row.
After a quick tour of Disneyland, the entourage headed over to Disney California Adventure to ride the Incredicoaster in Pixar Pier.
“Disney is just a lot of walking,” Speed said.
The tour continued in Cars Land with a ride on Radiator Springs Racers — a dueling slot car race set against the backdrop of the Cadillac Range of man-made mountains.
“This looks crazy,” Speed said. “Whoever built this set, they need a raise.”
The Marvel-themed Avengers Campus was the next stop for a ride on the Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: Breakout drop tower attraction.
“Are we going up or down?” Speed asked before the ride started.
IShowSpeed quickly found out the answer to his question — which was all captured on his live stream.
“This is terrible,” Speed said during the ride.
The final stop: Grizzly River Run river rapids water ride.
“Are we getting wet?” Speed asked. “I’m not really in the mood for getting wet, but whatever.”
The IShowSpeed entourage headed for the exit after just 3 hours in the parks.
“It was a W Disney day,” Speed said. “But I don’t want to be here for any longer, to be honest.”
The live stream continued as IShowSpeed headed off to Los Angeles for tour stops that included Venice Beach, UCLA and a ride with the Compton Cowboys.
