Actress and model Kaia Gerber turned even more heads than usual at a recent event for The Shards in Los Angeles. Cindy Crawford’s lookalike daughter, 24, wore an ab-baring black bra top at an ’80s-themed rollerskating soiree at Moonlight Rollerway to promote the new FX series based on the 2023 horror novel by Bret Easton Ellis.
Gerber, who recently starred in Vuori’s spring activewear campaign, rocked an all-black look from Gucci, which included a revealing bralette top and a matching sheer skirt that revealed her high-waisted briefs underneath.
“Though the series is set in 1981 Los Angeles, Gerber has been channeling her supermodel mom for much of the press tour,” Page Six points out. “In fact, her latest look bears an uncanny resemblance to that black crop top and high-waisted black trousers Crawford wore to the 1996 premiere of Striptease. Crawford was 30 at the time.”
Gerber has been opting for all-black looks at red carpet events promoting the Ryan Murphy-helmed series, and also wore a black dress to twin with mom Crawford for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s July wedding at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
“In all seriousness, it’s an honor when people tell me I look like my mom,” Gerber recently told Yahoo Entertainment. “I wish I did. I think even on my best days, I’m not even close.”
