Knott’s Berry Farm and Six Flags Magic Mountain have slashed prices on 2027 season passes that cost less than a single day visit to Disneyland or Universal Studios Hollywood throughout most of the year.
The limited-time sale on 2027 Six Flags season passes runs Friday, Aug. 7 through Sept. 7.

Buying a season pass now at the lowest price of the year gets you into the park of your choice through the rest of 2026 plus all of 2027.
The basic-level $99 Knott’s season pass is good just for the Buena Park theme park but not the Soak City water park next door. That’s a whopping 54% discount, bringing the cost of a year at Knott’s below the cheapest one-day ticket to Disneyland.
By comparison, daily ticket prices cost $104 to $224 at Disneyland and $109 to $155 at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Knott’s also offers a $129 Gold season pass (a 46% discount) that gets you into all Six Flags amusement parks and water parks on the West Coast.
Magic Mountain’s $129 Gold season pass (35% off) comes with access to all the Six Flags West Coast parks along with free parking. The Valencia amusement park does not offer a basic-level season pass like Knott’s.
The Six Flags West Coast parks include Knott’s, Magic Mountain, California’s Great America and Six Flags Discovery Kingdom along with all their water parks plus Hurricane Harbor Phoenix.
Knott’s and Magic Mountain each offer a $329 Prestige pass that’s good at every Six Flags park for the rest of 2026 and all of 2027 — an 18% discount during the sale.
The Prestige passes at Knott’s and Magic Mountain come with a 15% discount on food and merchandise, free parking, free soft drinks, free Fast Lane passes and bring-a-friend passes.
California’s Great America in Santa Clara offers an $89 Gold season pass (a 32% discount) but no Prestige pass.
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo has a $69 Silver season pass (19% off), $85 Gold pass (35% off) and $145 Prestige pass (28% off).

Don’t even think about buying a season pass at Great America or Discovery Kingdom just to save a few bucks if you plan to primarily use the pass at Knott’s or Magic Mountain. Your perks, discounts and parking are tied to your home park — as is your first visit.
