Haunt fans eager to get a sneak peek at what’s in store for Knott’s Scary Farm 2026 and breathe in the fog that always hangs over the Granddaddy of all Halloween events will get their chance during a preview event planned for this summer.
The Knott’s Scary Farm announcement event will be held on Aug. 18 at the Buena Park theme park. An official start time has not yet been locked down for the evening event.
Tickets for the $50 Knott’s Scary Farm announcement event will go on sale June 19 at 10 a.m. on the Knott’s Berry Farm website.

The Scary Farm announcement event will start with an opening moment near Gold Trails Hotel in Calico Ghost Town before the main presentation takes place on the Calico Mine Stage.
Knott’s will reveal two new mazes for Scary Farm 2026 and announce the returning mazes and scare zones. The Legacy Haunt Store and a few rides and restaurants will be open during the preview event along with Scary Farm activations and photo ops throughout the park.
One of the mazes retiring after the 2026 season will be open with the lights on during the event.
Knott’s Scary Farm will return on select nights from Sept. 17 through Oct. 31. More than 1,000 monsters will lurk in the haunted mazes, scare zones and fog-filled streets throughout the park during the after hours, separate admission event.
Tickets for Knott’s Scary Farm will go on sale on July 10.
