Knott’s Soak City plans 2 new water slides for 2027

A pair of new high-speed water slides coming to Knott’s Soak City next year will send raft riders racing down serpentine tubes and tunnels filled with plenty of tight twists, steep turns, spiraling corkscrews and wall-hugging G-forces.

The new Coral Craze and Kelp Kraze water slides will debut in 2027 at the Buena Park water park next to Knott’s Berry Farm.

An opening date has not yet been announced for the two new attractions at the seasonal water park that opens each year in mid-May.

The tandem high-capacity family water slides manufactured by ProSlide will share a common raft conveyor.

Coral Craze — a ProSlide Family FlyingSaucer water slide — will feature five-person rafts that navigate the attraction’s signature high-speed, steeply banked turns.

Kelp Kraze — a ProSlide Family Hive water slide — will feature tight turns, spiraling helixes and panoramic views through translucent walls while traveling in five-person rafts.

Kelp Kraze will be the longest water slide of its kind in the United States.

ProSlide FlyingSaucer slides can be found at Universal’s Volcano Bay in Florida and Holiday World’s Splashin’ Safari in Indiana. ProSlide Hive slides have been installed at Zoombezi Bay in Ohio and Chimelong in China.

The Knott’s Berry Farm water park is open on select days this summer through Sept. 7.
